Alpe - 'Amaro Alpe' Liqueur (750ML)

Crafted in the tiny town of Hône, nestled in Italy’s Val d’Aosta region, Alpe 'Amaro Alpe' Liqueur is a unique and locally-inspired creation from the artisanal Distilleria Alpe. This amaro is meticulously produced using more than twenty herbs, roots, and flowers native to the alpine region, including gentian, artemisia (genepy), and mint. Bitter botanicals like rhubarb root add complexity, balancing the fresh herbal notes with a satisfying bitterness. The herbs are harvested in August, dried, and then infused in pure alcohol for about a month. A portion of the liquid is re-distilled to enhance the persistence of flavor, with spring water and sugar added before bottling at 38% ABV. Known for its pronounced bitterness, Alpe is more intense than its counterpart, Lys, making it a distinct choice for amaro enthusiasts.

Infused with more than twenty locally grown herbs, roots and flowers, including gentian, artemisia (genepy), and mint, with the addition of bitter botanicals like rhubarb root. The flavor is tea-like, bitter and herbal with citrus notes and flowers.
