We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we offer a 14-day return window for most eligible items, starting from the date the order ships, subject to the terms below.
To be eligible for a return:
Items must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and in original packaging with all tags intact
Proof of purchase is required
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error (incorrect or damaged item)
Approved returns are subject to a 15% non-refundable restocking fee, deducted from the refund amount
Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Items sent back without prior return authorization will not be accepted.

If approved, you will receive return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label.
Please inspect the outside of the package before opening.
If there is visible damage to the shipping box or packaging, document it immediately. Opening the package may affect eligibility for a return or refund.
Due to the sensitive nature of perishable products, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
Customers must inspect perishable items immediately upon delivery and notify us promptly of any issues.
All perishable items are final sale unless damaged or defective upon delivery and reported in accordance with this policy.
If you are unsure whether a product is considered perishable, please contact us before ordering.
Chocolate products are highly heat-sensitive.
While insulated shipping options are available, SpecialtyFoodSource.com is not responsible for chocolate that melts during transit, even when insulated shipping is selected.
Melted chocolate does not constitute a defective or damaged product and is not eligible for return or refund. Orders containing chocolate are placed at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
(Returns & Refunds Policy)
Orders delivered to freight forwarders, consolidation warehouses, export agents, or third-party re-shipping services are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement once delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Specialty Food Source:
Does not guarantee product condition, shelf life, temperature integrity, labeling compliance, or suitability after delivery to a forwarding service
Does not support or authorize export or re-shipment of products
All inspection, acceptance, or rejection of goods must occur prior to export or re-shipment. Claims made after export, re-packing, or third-party handling will not be honored.
By using a freight forwarder, the customer assumes all risk and releases Specialty Food Source from liability related to post-delivery handling, export, or re-shipment.
Equipment and supply items fulfilled by third-party suppliers may require you to contact the supplier directly to initiate a return.
While we will assist when possible, return eligibility, timelines, and resolution are subject to the supplier’s policies. We are not liable for issues that could have been clarified prior to purchase.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
Specialty Food Source is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
If a package is returned to us due to address error, it may be reshipped at the customer’s expense
If an order is marked as delivered but not received, we are happy to assist in locating the shipment. However, we do not automatically reship or refund lost items.
Customers may request a replacement order at their own expense while the original shipment is under investigation. If the original order is returned to us or confirmed undeliverable, a refund for the product value will be issued.
We will not send replacement orders at no charge until the original shipment is returned or officially deemed lost.
Orders shipped without shipping insurance are not eligible for refund or replacement due to loss, theft, or carrier damage once transferred to the carrier.
Customers who decline shipping insurance agree to pursue any claims directly with the carrier and waive return or refund eligibility related to transit issues.
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us promptly so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.

Sale items and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for return or refund.
If you need an exchange, please initiate a return request using the link above. Once the original item is received and approved, we will assist with the replacement.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus applicable restocking fees and non-refundable shipping charges.
Initiating a chargeback without first following this Return & Refund Policy may result in denial of the claim and restriction from future purchases.

Allow additional processing time

Promotional codes and discounts apply only during the stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively, transferred, refunded, or credited after purchase.
