Do you ever feel like everyone you’ve ever known is born in August? (It’s me, I’m everyone). In true Leo fashion, this box is a tribute to my birthday month and all of the other August babes. Inspired by traditional birthday flavors, this box features our classic birthday cake blondie, plus three new flavors that call for a lioness-worthy celebration! (Pro tip: if it’s not your birthday, you can still stick a candle in a blondie and tell people it’s your birthday and they will tell you you’re pretty & shower you with gifts.)
What’s in the box?
birthday cake: If you want to celebrate your birthday, but you’re much too sophisticated for a box cake, I have a solution for you. This birthday cake blondie recipe is like if your childhood nostalgia came back from winter break with a Gucci bag and a bold lip (who is she?!). Cocoa noir blondies with vanilla cake batter filling tossed in confetti are everything you need to celebrate your greatness.
confetti birthday cake: Sprinkles are working overtime on this one! With colorful sprinkles on top & throughout, this cake batter blondie is an elevated version of the birthday cake we all know and love. (I actually read online that rainbow sprinkles cure all sadness? Worth a shot! Will report back.)
cookies & cream: I think we’ve all had a Baskin-Robbins Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Cake and thought to ourselves, ”Man, I wish this was also a blondie.” Consider your wish granted! We’re starting this one off strong by using our brooklyn blackout blondie as a base, and then topping it off with chocolate cookie cream cheese frosting (say that 10 times fast!).
yellow birthday cake: Inspired by the sheet cake classic! This yellow cake blondie with chocolate frosting tastes like childhood, just without the braces & awkward stages. We took it up a notch and finished it off with elegant, crispy chocolate pearls (consider those our little birthday gift to YOU).
