When to Choose 7.8 GPM Over Higher PSI

The HS-3008-1MGK is for applications where surface coverage rate per hour is the priority and 3000 PSI is sufficient cleaning pressure. Concrete rinsing, oil spill cleanup on large pads, ship and barge deck washing, and aircraft apron maintenance all involve large flat surfaces where moving faster at 3000 PSI/7.8 GPM produces better total output than working at higher pressure with lower flow. The 513,800 BTU/hr burner sustains 200°F output at the full 7.8 GPM flow — a higher BTU demand that requires the largest burner in the HS Series.
