8-Frame Double Deep Box Hive Kit

This is the setup most beekeepers start with — and stick with. Two 8-frame deep boxes form the brood chamber: the queen lays here, and the colony raises brood across both boxes as it grows.

• 2 cypress deep boxes, 9 5/8" — the full double-deep brood chamber
• 16 deep frames with foundation, sized to fit
• Telescoping cover, inner cover, and bottom board — everything needed to close up the hive

Just the Brood Chamber

This kit covers the brood nest — it doesn't include a honey super. Once your colony is established and you're ready to start collecting honey, add an 8-frame complete medium box on top.
