Lid Bolt for the Stephan VCM 44 (Aluminum Lids) - 3611

Replacement lid bolt for the aluminum lids only. In acidic environments this bolt can become corroded and cause issues with the lid opening and closing. This lid bolt also seals out sensitive electronics for the lid switch.

We carry two different types of lid bolts that fit each type of lids. View the image below to determine if you have a stainless or aluminum lid:





We highly recommend you change the bearing bushings while replacing the lid bolt. Worn bearing bushings will cause the lid to sit off-center when locking in place and not seal the electrical box behind the lid. The bearing bushings can be found under the recommended products on this page.

We now offer a complete lid bolt spring assembly to replace all the mechanical components in the lid bolt and spring assembly. The complete assembly includes:

• Spring Bushing - 3K0531-02
• Bearing Bushings - 3K0401
• Lid Bolt Cap Screw - 2238

In the complete spring assembly you will need to re-use the curved disc. If you need that replaced, you can find it here.
