Detailed Description

The BroodMinder-SubHub Bluetooth Range Extender acts as both a data collector and signal booster for your apiary. Every 10 minutes, it automatically wakes and gathers data from all nearby BroodMinder devices. This data is stored in the SubHub itself, allowing you to sync your phone with the SubHub instead of connecting to each sensor individually.

With its turbo-transfer protocol, the SubHub can transfer a month of data from 50 devices in just 2 minutes, significantly reducing the time spent managing hive records.

The device also works as a Bluetooth range extender, re-transmitting hive data up to 1,000 feet (330 meters) away. By pairing it with an older smartphone running the Apiary app in Hub Mode, you can view real-time hive data at low cost. Please note: Hub Mode is a premium feature that requires a $54/year subscription.

Note: The BroodMinder-WiFi does not connect to the SubHub due to power limitations.
