Scale males are attracted to the pheromone lure attached to the traps in this kit. When they land, they become stuck, die, and can no longer mate. Hang traps at shoulder height inside the host tree for best results. To set up, peel the cover paper off at an angle—do this rapidly—and attach the lure.
