The scale delivers fine detail with 0.01 lb (5 g) resolution and is temperature-compensated to maintain accuracy across fluctuating outdoor conditions. With hourly weight logging, the device can store data for up to six months (configurable by the user).

Built for durability, the BroodMinder-W is constructed with a white oak top and aluminum base, measuring 16.25" x 2.5" x 1.5", and is protected by a weatherproof, UV-resistant cover. Power is supplied by a replaceable coin cell battery with a typical six-month lifespan.
