Monstera Deliciosa aka Swiss Cheese plant is a split leaf philodendron that once mature bares this delicious fruit! It is native to Mexico and has been introduced all across the tropical regions of the Americas. 

The fruit tastes very similar to Cherimoya. It has hints of flavors reminiscent of pineapple candy and has a texture similar to mango. The fruit MUST BE EATEN RIPE.

This will arrive unripe with all scales  When ripe the scales will fall off on its own. Only eat the fruit exposed when the scale falls. This fruit ripens in segments, The fruit WILL NOT RIPEN ALL AT ONCE. Eat only the exposed segments as they ripen, as indicated by the scales falling off all at once.
