Sugar Apple, also known as Sweet Sop or scientifically known as Annona squamosa is native to tropical regions of the Americas and the Caribbean.

Our sugar apples are grown in sunny South Florida. We have both the green and purple varieties. It's taste is highly sweet, with some having a sugar grain like consistency while other are more meaty. This fruit is a delicacy in Tropical Regions such as the Caribbean, South America & Tropical Regions of North America.

This fruit is in the same family as Soursop (Guanabana) and Cherimoya. Sugar apple is an excellent source of essential minerals and vitamins similar to soursop.
