Detailed Description

The BroodMinder-T2 Digital Temperature Sensor is engineered to give beekeepers accurate and actionable data on hive conditions. Its low-profile housing (1/4") is designed to sit neatly on top of brood or honey super frames, ensuring it records the natural heat created by bees as it rises.

With accuracy to 1°F, the sensor allows beekeepers to observe even small shifts in hive temperature. The T2 also includes Temperature Event detection, a feature that identifies sudden spikes such as those caused by swarms. When triggered, the device automatically switches to 1-minute sampling, providing a high-resolution record of the event.

When paired with a BroodMinder hub, these events can also generate email or text notifications, giving you immediate updates and greater control over hive monitoring.
