The BroodMinder-TH2 sensor combines temperature and humidity monitoring in one compact device. Designed for the beekeeper, it sits on top of brood or honey super frames to record hive conditions as heat rises through the colony. With accuracy to 1°F, it captures even the smallest changes.

A key feature of the TH2 is its Temperature Event detection, which identifies sudden spikes such as those caused by swarming. When triggered, the sensor switches to 1-minute sampling for detailed recording. If connected to a BroodMinder hub, these events can also generate email or text alerts, giving you immediate updates on hive activity.

Built with a redesigned, low-profile housing (1/4" x 1"), the TH2 is unobtrusive yet reliable. It is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery with a 2-year life, ensuring long-term use without frequent maintenance.
