With their official Indicazione Geografica Protetta(IGP) status, these onions are legally protected and grown exclusively in the coastal zone between Tropea and Capo Vaticano, where sun, sea breeze, and volcanic soil create unmatched sweetness and aroma.
Crispino Antipasto Cipolle di Tropea IGP honors this tradition with a clean, authentic recipe that preserves the onion’s natural elegance. The onions are gently prepared and marinated in a balanced combination of water, wine vinegar, a touch of natural sugar, and sea salt, allowing their inherent sweetness to shine without overpowering acidity or additives.
