The Tornado BD 20/11LT (model TS120-S53-U) is a 24V traction-drive disc scrubber that cleans a 20-inch path at up to 18,837 sq. ft. per hour and runs 3 to 4 hours on a charge. A self-propelled drive motor carries the machine forward at 48.5 lbs of brush pressure and 155 RPM, with an 11-gallon solution tank and 12-gallon recovery tank feeding a single-pass scrub-and-dry. Who the BD 20/11LT Is For

Reach for the LT when shifts run long or the floor has ramps and inclines. Because a separate drive motor pulls the machine forward, the operator steers rather than pushing 187-plus pounds across the floor, which holds up better over a multi-hour route than the brush-assist BD 20/11L. Daytime cleaning in occupied buildings works as well, since the unit stays under 70 dB.

How the Brush Deck, Tanks, and Battery Work

The disc deck presses down at 48.5 lbs and spins at 155 RPM to lift soil, while a 31-inch squeegee and 50 inches of water lift pull the slurry up so floors are walkable right behind you. Clean solution comes from the 11-gallon tank, and dirty water collects in the 12-gallon recovery tank, so you cover more ground between dumps.

Power is a 24V battery set with an on-board charger, available in lead-acid or AGM. Plan on 3 to 4 hours of run time per charge, and keep a charged spare for back-to-back shifts.
