Amaretto Pear Butter

Amaretto has such a nice nutty flavor that we couldn't resist pairing up with with the floral flavor of a bartlett pear, and we knew we had a hit immediately!

We start with only fresh bartlett pears from the Sacramento Delta that were hand selected by our favorite pear growers, Van Loben Sels' Farms. Our recipe uses only bartlett pears, pure cane sugar, a bit of amaretto along with a generous splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a little zing to the flavor in this magical combination.
