Caputo Lievito is a traditional Italian-made dry active yeast made from the yeast species Saccharomyces cerevisiae, that has been used for pizza baking for 100’s of years.

The active dried yeast of Mulino Caputo is of the 100% Italian Saccharomyces Cerevisiae type and obtained exclusively from Italian molasses: it has a high fermentative power and is ideal for making soft doughs with an incomparable taste. Easy to use, it keeps well and lasts longer, and prevents waste: a third is enough. Antimo Caputo Lievito Active Dry Yeast is an Italian-made yeast that has a much longer shelf life than fresh yeast. Caputo Dry Yeast is also used in gluten free dishes and is much easier on the digestive system.
