Everflow Diatom Granular Filter

The Everflow filter is our most efficient filter, providing comprehensive improvement and protection of your water quality, great flow rates and a long service life with two layers of filtration: ceramic shell encapsulating granular carbon filtration media.   Made in the USA for Sertodo.

We recommend these filters for water sources not heavily impacted by agriculture or industry, (either municipal, well or surface water) or to improve the taste and quality of your municipal water, removing chlorines and fluorides while offering additional protection against pharmaceuticals and other contaminants.  Excellent sediment filtration.

These filters use a two step filtration process:

1. Diatomaceous Earth Ceramic Shell infused with silver features a microscopic, porous honeycomb structure that provides ultra-fine physical filtration down to .2 microns. This complex matrix traps fine sediment and microscopic impurities including protozoa and bacteria.   The ceramic can be cleaned and scrubbed throughout it's life to remove clogging and improve flow rates, while the silver infusion helps to prevent biofouling.

2. Granular Carbon Filtration Core specially treated to remove fluorides and chlorines added to municipal water systems as well as heavy metals, herbicides and pesticides, VOC's, pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors, PFOA/PFOS, taste/odor compounds and more.     

*No activated alumina is used in the filter element.
