It runs the same 1.5 HP A/C dual-capacitor motor as the single-speed BMT-175-Y but adds a second speed — 175 RPM for scrubbing and stripping, 300 RPM for spray buffing and polishing. The triple-planetary transmission eliminates startup torque across both speed settings.
