H-19S Hercules Floor Sander — 19" Sealed Motor Sanding Machine for Intermediate-Size Floors

The Mercury H-19S Hercules is the 19-inch version of the sealed-motor Hercules sanding line — one inch narrower than the H-20S with the same 1.5 HP sealed motor, triple-planetary transmission, and polished aluminum chassis. The H-19S is the right choice when the job site has doorways or corridors where a 20" apron is a tight fit, or when the facility manager specifies a 19" machine to match their existing pad inventory. It runs the same 18" rotary brush and accepts a 19" pad driver, handles wood, stone, and concrete sanding applications, and carries the same 5-year motor/transmission/chassis warranty as the rest of the Hercules line. H-19S Sealed Motor Performance and Pad Configuration

The sealed motor protection and triple-planetary gearbox are identical to the H-20S — the only difference is the one-inch narrower apron profile and corresponding brush/pad sizes.

H-19S Applications and Environments

Floor finishing contractors working in hotel corridors, school hallways, and apartment building common areas choose the H-19S when 20" machines are a tight fit through fire doors and doorways. Contractors who work in older buildings with narrower interior dimensions use it as the primary machine where the H-20S would require repositioning around obstacles. Stone restoration specialists polishing marble and terrazzo in tight retail spaces and restaurant dining rooms where maneuvering a 20" machine around fixed tables and fixtures is difficult use the 19" profile for better access. The sealed motor makes it appropriate for any application where fine dust is unavoidable and the machine will run for multiple hours per day.

H-19S RPM, Pad Compatibility, and Warranty

Runs at 175 RPM — appropriate for sanding, surface preparation, and light polishing. Use standard 17" abrasive screens for wood sanding, 19" diamond pads for concrete and stone surface prep, and 17"–19" floor pads for polishing sealed surfaces. The H-19S carries Mercury's 5-year warranty on the motor, transmission, and chassis.
