Hopkins Rosé of Pinot noir is fresh, bright and immediately gratifying. Though not a fruity Rose, minor notes of white peach, unripe nectarine, and watermelon playfully interact with a Belgian beer yeast aroma (a honeyed, yeasty aroma). It is fermented in tank and the texture is crisp with medium to light body and quite a surprisingly long, salty finish. The acidity is invigorating and the wine hits you like a cup of coffee. A perfect way to start a meal or a day.
