This replacement bearing bolt is located in the swivel mechanism of the VCM 40. The tilt locking handle threads onto the end of this bearing bolt. Over time this part can become corroded due to acidic food and/or moisture.

This bearing bolt is made from 100% stainless material. We highly recommend you also replace the two brass bushings when replacing the bearing bolt.

You can find those bushings in the recommended products section of this page. The VCM 40 requires two brass bushings per bearing bolt.
