With our Quad Chopper kits you'll be ready to convert your existing chopper assembly into a FOUR BLADE SETUP! This JPM Parts exclusive product is designed to work for the Hobart HCM 450 units with a cutter assembly. 

Our upgrade kits include QUAD-STYLE cutter blades. Specifically made to convert the HCM 450 into a four blade setup.

Cutter sleeve and drive hub is not included in these kits.

Designed to work with all baffle scrapers in the Hobart HCM 450.

The Quad Chopper increases your cutting efficiency. Our kit will also provide:

  • The finest mix possible
  • Reduced processing times
  • Reduced wear and tear with the lower mixing times
  • Smooth, vibration-free operation

Here's a breakdown on the different kits offered:

Upgrade Kit [1987-UK]

Our HCM quad chopper setup requires two quad-style blades to work. If you already have a pair of standard HCM blades, you can select the upgrade kit to convert your assembly to a four blade setup.

3 EA: Flat Chopper Ring, Thick
1 EA: Flat Chopper Ring, Thin
2 EA: Quad-Style Blades
1 EA: Half-Moon Key, Custom
1 EA: Half-Moon Key, Standard
 
Full Kit [1987-FK]

The upgrade kit will include two quad-style blades, and two standard blades to install on your existing cutter shaft components. Highly recommended to maintain proper balance and cutting efficiency.

1 EA: Flat Chopper Ring, Thin

Important notes:

Balancing: All blades used in this assembly should be from the same brand or weigh within a few grams of each other. If you experience vibrations during operations, stop the machine and inspect the balance of the assembly.
