A half-gallon Mason jar holds 64oz—2 quarts or 8 cups. Fill one with water, set it on your desk, and use an Extra Long straw for easy sipping throughout the day.
-
Size: 11¾ inches (30cm) long, with an 8mm outside diameter and 6.2mm inside diameter. Choose this extra-long size for a half-gallon jar; it is longer than our Short, Medium, and Long straws.
-
What’s included: Four Extra Long Safer Rounded End stainless steel straws, one straw cleaner, and one cloth bag.
-
Rounded ends: Smooth, rounded ends feel comfortable in your mouth. Treat these straws with the same care as other metal utensils.
-
Stainless steel lid setup: With our Stainless Steel Straw Hole Lids, remove the silicone grommet to expose the 10mm metal opening. Put the straw in the jar first, then lower the lid over it and screw the lid on. The 10.5mm locking tab stays inside the jar, below the metal opening, to help keep the straw from falling out.
-
Other lid and cup fit: The 8mm straw body also fits our Silicone Straw Hole Lids. Match the lid to your jar’s actual Regular or Wide Mouth size. For Stanley and other travel mugs or straw-hole lids, check the opening and straw length before ordering. Locking-tab retention depends on the lid opening and material. The straw does not seal an open straw hole.
-
Materials: Made from 304 grade stainless steel. Our black logo is laser-annealed directly into the metal without inks or chemical coatings.
-
Cleaning: Use the included straw cleaner with soap and hot water to scrub inside the straw, working from both ends, then rinse thoroughly. The stainless steel straws and cleaner are dishwasher safe. The metal straws can also be boiled for cleaning.
My personal cleaning routine is to rinse the straws after use, put them in the dishwasher, then run a straw cleaner through them and rinse again before putting them away. My dishwasher sometimes leaves a little residue, so the brush helps me check that they are clean.
Keep a reusable straw in your regular drink rotation to use fewer disposable straws.

Treat stainless steel straws like other metal utensils. Don’t let a child run around with one, and please be careful!
