Bronze-drawn durum wheat semolina pasta with wheat germ

  • It is said that their name comes from a verb in the Tuscan dialect: “pappare”, which means to eat, and this alone could be enough to guarantee their deliciousness.

    Pappardelle need little introduction: thicker and rougher than tagliatelle, they are perfect for holding rich and hearty sauces.

    We highly recommend trying them with the classic meat sauce, but why not experiment with less traditional pairings? They are delightful when enhanced by the unique and refined flavor of truffle, surprising when paired with a seafood sauce, but—like all our pasta with wheat germ—you can simply dress them with the genuine simplicity of a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
