• We always say it: for us, pizza is the food of happiness and this base in particular, with its shape reminiscent of a smile, brings joy from the very first glance (and even more so after the first bite!).
  
  Its half-moon-shaped dough, reminiscent of the traditional “calzone” from southern Italy, is perfect for holding all your favorite ingredients. You can let your imagination run wild or serve it with the classic filling of tomato and mozzarella, perhaps with some cooked ham added.
  
  For a lighter and fresher option, especially during the summer months, we recommend filling it — after baking — with rocket, fresh vegetables and a few slices of ham.
