Blind Stopper and Blade Holder Insert Combo For The VCM-44 - 6165/6166

This set includes one blind stopper and one blade holder insert. This combination is the best way to prevent damage to the VCM 44 motor shaft due to blade hop. All VCM 44 blades are held in place by the pressure of the product being mixed. During heavy mixing operations (such as dough kneading) the blade can bounce or hop on occasion, causing damage to the motor shaft.

The blade holder insert installs inside the top of the blade and the blind stopper installs inside the lid.

Using both the blind stopper and the blade holder provides the best protection for blade hop damage. You save 15% on these products when purchased together. Here are a few pictures to help explain how these products work together:

Note: Before ordering be sure to check the lid insert! if the lid insert is removed or worn, the blind stopper will not fit tight. (See image above) If that insert is missing select “plastic lid insert” option above.
