Made using cold-infusion, our house White Truffle Oil preserves both the delicate flavor of extra virgin olive oil and the robust earthiness of white truffle. The white truffle hails from the Piedmont region in northern Italy and grows with oak, hazel, poplar and beech trees. White truffles have been a highly prized food since the 18th century in France. They add a distinct oaky flavor and aroma to any dish, and were once called “the diamond of the kitchen” by French gastronome Brillat-Savarin.
